Who can take part
- You are scheduled for a planned, first-time replacement of just one knee
- You are in generally good health based on routine lab tests
- You weigh 130 kilograms (about 286 pounds) or less at your screening visit
- You have not had any major bleeding in the last 6 months that required a hospital stay or blood transfusion
- You have no history of blood clots or a blood-clotting disorder
- You have not had major surgery (including brain, spine, or eye surgery) or a major injury in the last 6 months
