  • You have a solid tumor or certain blood cancers (like lymphoma or multiple myeloma)
  • You have a recent (within 5 days) blood clot in your leg or lung found by imaging
  • Your doctor plans to treat you with a blood thinner pill for at least 3 to 6 months
  • You are able to perform daily activities with some help (ECOG 0-2)
  • You do not have a high risk of bleeding or a bleeding disorder
