Novosis Putty for spine fusion in lumbar disc disease

Who can take part

  • You have ongoing lower back pain from a worn-out disc between the L1 and S1 vertebrae, and imaging shows this is the main problem.
  • You have tried at least 6 months of non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy, medications, or injections) without enough relief.
  • Your back and leg disability score is at least 40 out of 100 on a standard questionnaire (Oswestry Disability Index).
  • You are between 21 and 80 years old and in generally good health for surgery.
  • You have not had previous spine surgery (like fusion or disc replacement) at the same level that would be treated now.
