Who can take part

  • You’re at least 18 years old
  • You have degenerative disc disease causing back and/or nerve pain that has not improved after 6+ months of non-surgical treatment
  • Your imaging shows specific spine changes (like instability, worn joints, bone overgrowth, or reduced disc height)
  • You have not had any prior fusion surgery in your lower back
  • You do not currently have cancer treatment or active infection
  • You are not pregnant, nursing, or planning pregnancy for 2 years after the fusion surgery
