Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have AML or MDS and are scheduled for a stem cell transplant within the next 3 weeks
  • Your AML is in remission or your MDS is confirmed by a doctor
  • You have a higher risk of side effects from standard high-dose chemo (for example, you are 50 or older, have other health problems, or this is your second transplant)
  • You have a suitable donor (sibling, matched unrelated, or half-matched family donor)
