Who can take part

  • You have had a stroke.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You can walk independently or with a walking aid (like a cane).
  • Your arm and leg muscles are not overly stiff (a doctor can check this).
  • You do not have other brain or nerve problems that affect balance, like severe vision loss or a condition affecting the cerebellum (part of the brain that controls coordination).
  • You are able to follow simple instructions and cooperate during the study.
