  • You must have had a stroke (cerebrovascular disease) confirmed by a doctor.
  • You should be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your stroke must have happened within the last 6 months.
  • You need to be alert, stable, and able to follow instructions for rehab exercises.
  • You cannot have severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease, or uncontrolled health problems.
  • You must not have epilepsy, metal in your head, or other conditions that make the brain stimulation unsafe.
