Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have no known structural problems in either ear.
  • You speak English.
  • You plan to get a cochlear implant in one ear, or you already have one that hasn't been turned on yet.
  • Your other ear (the one not getting the implant) has normal hearing or only very mild hearing loss.
