Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You lost your hearing after learning to speak, and the loss is severe to profound in the ear with the implant.
  • You have a MED-EL cochlear implant with a Flex28, FlexSoft, or Standard electrode.
  • You have not yet turned on your new audio processor for the first time.
  • You have had a CT scan after surgery showing the implant's position, and had hearing tests before surgery.
