This study tests a new way to adjust the settings on your cochlear implant and hearing aid together. The goal is to improve your hearing by using the natural structure of your ear, which might help you hear better in everyday situations.

Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have severe to profound hearing loss in the ear(s) with the implant, which started after you learned to speak.
- You have a cochlear implant from MED-EL with a Flex28, FlexSoft, or Standard electrode, and you wear a SONNET 2 or RONDO 3 audio processor.
- You have used your cochlear implant for at least 6 months, and the deepest part of the implant is inserted at least 540 degrees into your cochlea.
- You use a hearing aid in your other ear that fits well.
- You can speak the language of the test center and agree to sign a consent form.
