Who can take part
- You are being treated for a blood cancer like leukemia or lymphoma with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or a stem cell transplant.
- You have recently had a positive test for carbapenem-resistant bacteria or are being tested weekly while in the hospital.
- Your doctor thinks you are at high risk for this infection and needs to give you IV antibiotics that cover these bacteria.
