Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You have heart failure (any type) with moderate to severe kidney function, OR heart disease with moderate kidney function, OR heart disease plus type 2 diabetes with moderate to severe kidney function
- Your potassium level is 5.0 or lower
- You are currently taking or eligible to take the medicine empagliflozin
- You have not used a mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist or an aldosterone synthase inhibitor in the last 6 months
- You are an outpatient and stable on your other heart medicines for at least 4 weeks
