Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 39 years old.
  • Your resting blood pressure is in the range 120/80 to 139/89 (considered elevated or stage 1 high, but not stage 2 high or normal).
  • You do not have any chronic or autoimmune diseases (like heart disease, diabetes, or cancer).
  • You do not have a sleep disorder (like sleep apnea or insomnia) and are not at high risk for one.
  • You are not taking medications that affect blood pressure or sleep (like antihypertensives or melatonin).
