Who can take part
- You have bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle layer (stage T2 to T4a) or a high-grade tumor that came back after a transurethral resection (TURBT).
- You are not able or willing to have your bladder removed (cystectomy), OR your health makes it hard to tolerate strong chemotherapy, OR you prefer to avoid chemotherapy altogether.
- You have not had chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy before for any cancer.
- Your blood counts, liver and kidney function are within safe limits (e.g., white blood cell count ≥ 3.5, platelets ≥ 50, and creatinine clearance ≥ 60 mL/min).
- You have not had radiation to your pelvis or abdomen before, and you do not have uncontrolled infections or serious heart problems (like a heart attack in the last 6 months).
- You agree to use effective contraception during the trial (if you can become pregnant or father a child).
