  • You are between 18 and 89 years old.
  • Your most recent heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) is between 41% and 50%.
  • You have been diagnosed with heart failure in the past year.
  • You are not currently on a high dose of a beta blocker.
  • Your systolic blood pressure is at least 100 and your heart rate is at least 70.
