Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your office blood pressure is consistently high: top number 150–179 mmHg and bottom number 90–109 mmHg.
  • Your average daytime blood pressure from a 24-hour monitor is at least 140/90 mmHg.
  • You are not pregnant and will not become pregnant during the study.
  • You have two healthy kidneys with suitable arteries for the procedure.
  • You have no history of kidney stenting or a previous kidney nerve ablation.
