Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a diagnosis of a specific type of blood cancer, such as chronic myelomonocytic leukemia or chronic neutrophilic leukemia.
  • Your disease must be in a chronic phase, meaning you have less than 10% blasts (immature cells) in your blood or bone marrow.
  • You must have an enlarged spleen, either felt as at least 5 cm below your ribs or seen on imaging as at least 450 cm3.
  • You should have adequate organ function, including kidneys and liver, as determined by blood tests.
  • You must be willing and able to use effective contraception if you or your partner could become pregnant.
