Who can take part

  • You are older than 1 year and younger than 21 years old at diagnosis.
  • You have been diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) or T-lineage lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LL) that has not been treated yet.
  • You have not received any strong cancer treatments for this diagnosis, except for steroids, a specific type of spinal fluid chemo (intrathecal cytarabine), hydroxyurea, or up to 600 cGy of chest radiation.
  • If you are female and able to become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and agree to use effective birth control during the study.
  • You do not have Down syndrome, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, severe uncontrolled asthma, uncontrolled seizures, or significant liver problems.
  • You do not have active HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C infection that is not well-controlled.
