Who can take part

  • This trial is for children, teens, and young adults (ages 1 to 22, or up to 46 at some hospitals) with a specific type of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) that has a Philadelphia chromosome or a similar genetic change called ABL-class Ph-like.
  • Patients must have recently started standard chemotherapy (induction therapy) and have not received more than 14 days of targeted therapy (dasatinib or imatinib).
  • Participants need to have good kidney, liver, and heart function based on recent tests.
  • Patients cannot have certain health conditions, such as Down syndrome, uncontrolled infections, or a history of serious heart rhythm problems.
  • Females who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and any patient who is not willing to use effective birth control during treatment, cannot join the trial.
