Brain Arteriovenous Malformations

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 64 years old.
  • You have a brain blood vessel malformation that is large or complex (called Spetzler-Martin grade IV or V).
  • Your malformation has bled in the past or is causing severe symptoms like hard-to-control seizures, compression on nearby brain tissue, or pressure symptoms.
  • Your doctors have decided that your malformation cannot be treated with standard invasive methods like surgery or radiation.
  • You have adequate bone marrow, liver, and kidney function, and are up to date with COVID-19 vaccines per French guidelines.
  • You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after treatment.
