Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have a symptomatic brain AVM that is large or complex (grades III, IV, or V) and causing problems like headaches, seizures, thinking issues, or weakness.
  • Your symptoms are significant enough to show improvement, as measured by certain tests or scores.
  • Your symptoms are not just from a past brain bleed and are disabling in daily life.
  • You have been told that standard treatments (surgery, embolization, or radiation) are not an option for you.
  • You have normal bone marrow, liver, and kidney function (checked by blood tests).
