Motor training vs. cognitive-motor training for ankle instability

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 30 years old and play basketball.
  • You have had at least one bad ankle sprain (on one side) more than a year ago.
  • Your ankle feels like it gives way at least twice in the last 6 months.
  • You have not had surgery or a fracture in that ankle or leg.
  • You are not taking anti-inflammatory meds (like ibuprofen) regularly and have not had a recent sprain in the last 3 months.
