Who can take part

  • You have chronic ankle instability (CAI) diagnosed by a healthcare provider—meaning your ankle frequently gives way or feels unstable
  • You had a significant ankle sprain at least 12 months ago that caused pain, swelling, and made you stop activities for at least one day
  • You've experienced 'giving way,' recurrent sprains, or instability in the same ankle within the past 6 months
  • Your ankle instability score (CAIT) is 25 or lower
  • You have not had surgery, fractures, or injections in your ankle or lower leg
  • You have not had a recent ankle sprain in the past 4 weeks or other lower leg injuries in the past 3 months
