- You must be an active volleyball player for at least 5 years.
- You have had ankle instability (feeling of giving way) at least twice in the last 6 months.
- Your first ankle sprain happened more than a year ago and caused pain or swelling.

- You have no history of ankle fracture or surgery on your legs.
