Who can take part

  • Between 18 and 30 years old
  • Healthy weight range (BMI 18.5–29.9)
  • Had your first ankle sprain at least 12 months ago
  • Most recent ankle sprain or instability symptoms within the last 3 months
  • Experience of ankle giving way or recurrent sprains
  • No other lower-leg surgery in the past 6 months
  • No acute (sudden) ankle sprain in the past 6 weeks
