Who can take part
- Your child's acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) has returned or not improved after at least one standard treatment.
- The leukemia cells must have a marker called CD19 on their surface (a protein that the CAR T-cells target).
- Your child is between 1 and 18 years old.
- Your child is generally well enough to be up and about at least 50% of the time (Lansky or Karnofsky score of 50 or more).
- Recent blood tests show that your child's liver and kidneys are working well enough, and oxygen levels are normal.
- Your child has not had other cancer treatments (like chemotherapy, antibody therapy, or steroids) within a short window before joining.
