Monitoring lung function with 3D imaging in ARDS

Who can take part

  • You must be on a breathing machine (mechanical ventilator).
  • You must have been diagnosed with ARDS (a serious lung condition).
  • Your doctors must recommend lying on your stomach (prone position) to help your breathing.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You cannot be pregnant.
  • You cannot have a chest wall deformity.
  • You cannot have a device like an implantable defibrillator or pump that would interfere with the electrical imaging (EIT) used in the study.
