Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a type of inflammatory muscle disease (IIM) confirmed by a doctor and have muscle weakness in your arms or legs (grade 4 or less).
- You have active muscle inflammation shown on a recent biopsy or MRI (within the last 6 months).
- You have tested positive for at least one specific antibody linked to myositis (like Jo-1, SRP, HMGCR, or others).
- Your muscle strength is less than 142 on a manual test, and you have at least two signs of moderate-to-severe disease (like high disease activity scores, trouble with daily activities, or elevated muscle enzymes).
- You have not responded well to or cannot tolerate steroids and at least two other immunosuppressants or biologic drugs.
