This trial tests a combination treatment that uses a laser and focused radiation to shrink tumors in the spine and help stabilize the area near the spinal cord. It’s meant for adults with certain types of solid cancers that have limited spread in the spine and who are not good candidates for surgery.

Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a solid cancer that is NOT lymphoma, multiple myeloma, small cell lung cancer, or germ cell tumor
- Have spine tumor(s) in the T2 through L1 back levels, with only up to 3 spine levels involved total
- Have mild to moderate pressure on the spinal cord on MRI (grade 1C, 2, or 3), with arm/leg strength at least 4 out of 5
- Be able to have an MRI, lie on your stomach/prone position for over 60 minutes, and tolerate general anesthesia
- Have an expected lifespan of more than 3 months and not be pregnant; use reliable birth control during the study
