Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for a TAVR procedure (a type of heart valve replacement)
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or above, or you have a BMI between 27 and 30 and at least one related condition (like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, a past stroke, a past heart attack, or peripheral artery disease)
- You are not currently taking a GLP-1 medication (such as Ozempic or Wegovy)
- You have not had a recent heart attack, stroke, or unstable angina in the last 60 days
