Who can take part
- You are 22 or older and have cataracts in both eyes that need surgery.
- Your doctor expects you will have good vision (20/30 or better) after the lens is placed.
- You have no other major eye problems besides cataracts.
- Your cornea has a regular shape with less than 1.25 diopters of astigmatism.
- Your pupils can be dilated to at least 5.5 mm so the lens can be seen after surgery.
- You have not had any prior eye surgery like LASIK or retinal detachment repair.
