Who can take part

  • You have paralysis that does not require a ventilator (from a spinal cord injury, stroke, or condition like MS, ALS, or Parkinson's)
  • You have poor trunk control (trouble sitting up straight without help)
  • Your body can fit safely in the rowing seat and system
  • You can either move your legs on purpose or tolerate electrical stimulation to help move them
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have recent pressure injuries, heart or lung problems, or recent surgeries that would make rowing unsafe
