Who can take part

  • You are over 18 and can sign consent (or have a way to do this yourself).
  • You have paralysis or weakness in the trunk and/or legs that is not from a breathing machine, from causes like stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, or multiple sclerosis.
  • Your lower body has working nerve signals that can be “stimulated” by the device (the team will check).
  • You have stable social support (someone who can help as needed) and a stable home situation.
  • You agree to attend follow-up visits and follow study instructions.
