Ruxolitinib and decitabine before stem cell transplant for AML

Who can take part

  • You have acute myeloid leukemia (other than the M3 subtype) and your doctor says a stem cell transplant is right for you.
  • You have a stem cell donor available — a matched sibling, a half-matched family member (haploidentical), or a matched unrelated donor.
  • You are between 12 and 64 years old.
  • Your liver and kidney function are within acceptable limits (liver tests up to 2.5 times normal, kidney function normal).
  • No active infections that can't be controlled, and no serious mental health conditions that would make it hard to follow the plan.
