This research study tests whether adding a drug called celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory pill) can help treat early-stage triple-negative breast cancer after surgery, before or during radiation therapy. You may be eligible if your cancer was removed cleanly and you do not have other health issues like stomach ulcers, kidney problems, or a history of allergic reactions to certain pain relievers.

Who can take part

  • You are female and at least 18 years old.
  • You have early-stage triple-negative breast cancer (confirmed by a biopsy).
  • Your cancer has not spread to distant parts of the body (no metastasis).
  • You had surgery to remove the tumor, and the edges were clear of cancer (negative margins).
  • In the last 6 months, you have not had a stomach ulcer, kidney disease, liver disease, or heart failure.
  • You are not currently taking any anti-inflammatory pain relievers (like ibuprofen or naproxen) and have no history of allergy to celecoxib, sulfa drugs, aspirin, or similar medications.
