Testing Thopaz Device for Persistent Lung Air Leaks

Persistent Air Leaks

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are in the hospital with a constant air leak that has lasted 5 days or more, even with a chest tube in place.
  • You are going to have a bronchoscopy (a test where a doctor looks inside your lungs with a thin tube) as part of your care for the air leak.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have any condition that would make a bronchoscopy unsafe for you.
