Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older.
  • Have chronic coronary syndrome (stable heart disease).
  • Heavily calcified blockage in a heart artery confirmed by a CT scan.
  • Medically suitable for bypass surgery, angioplasty, or atherectomy.
  • No recent heart attack (within 48 hours), cardiogenic shock, or completely blocked target artery.
  • No severe kidney disease (filter rate below 30).
