Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You had a stroke (bleeding or clot) at least 6 months ago.
  • You feel a lack of motivation or interest (apathy) that bothers you, confirmed by a special questionnaire.
  • You can have a caregiver or family member who knows you well and can help with the study.
  • You are able to have an MRI and a brain stimulation treatment called rTMS (no metal implants or certain medical devices).
