This study looks at certain markers in the blood to see if they can predict blood clots in people with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) like polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or pre-myelofibrosis. It is only for people who have a specific JAK2 mutation and are at high risk for clots, and who are already enrolled in another trial and a biobank.

Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV), Essential Thrombocythemia (ET), or pre-myelofibrosis (pre-MF).
- You have a JAK2V617F mutation with a variant allele frequency (VAF) greater than 1%.
- You are at high risk for blood clots (either you are over 60 years old or have had a prior clot).
- You were diagnosed with your MPN within the last 12 months.
- You are already taking part in the AVAJAK trial and the FIMBANK biobank.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney problems, and you are not on heparin (a blood thinner).
