This trial tests whether a drug called tislelizumab, given after surgery, can help prevent lung cancer from coming back. It is for people with stage I non-small cell lung cancer who have certain high-risk features and a protein called PD-L1 on their tumor cells.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and have had surgery to remove stage I lung cancer (tumor size between 2 and 4 cm).
  • Your tumor must have at least one high-risk feature, like invasion of nearby tissues or a poorly differentiated type.
  • Your cancer cells must have at least 1% PD-L1 protein, and no EGFR or ALK gene mutations.
  • You must have fully recovered from surgery, be able to perform daily activities, and start treatment within 8 weeks after surgery.
  • You cannot have had any prior chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments for this lung cancer.
