Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must have advanced stomach, esophageal, or gastroesophageal junction cancer that is HER2-positive (a specific protein or gene marker).
- You must not have had prior chemotherapy for cancer that has spread, but prior radiation or surgery-adjuvant treatment is allowed if finished at least 3 months ago.
- You must have good organ function (kidney, liver, bone marrow) as shown by blood tests.
- You must be willing to use effective birth control if applicable, and not breastfeed or donate eggs/sperm during and for a period after treatment.
- You must not have active lung disease, severe heart issues, or untreated brain metastases.
