Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
- Your breast cancer must be early stage, larger than 2 centimeters, and has spread to nearby lymph nodes (or a larger tumor without lymph node involvement).
- Your cancer must have low levels of HER2 protein (tested as IHC 1+ or 2+ with negative FISH).
- Your cancer must be hormone receptor positive (ER and/or PgR at least 1%).
- You must be willing to have surgery after the neoadjuvant therapy if you become eligible.
- You cannot have cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or have had breast cancer before.
