This study tests whether a type of shockwave treatment, guided by how the body's connective tissue works, can help people with long-lasting tennis elbow (pain on the outside of the elbow). If you've had elbow pain for at least 3 months and the pain gets worse with certain movements, this trial might be for you.

Who can take part

  • You have had pain on the outside of your elbow for 3 months or more.
  • The pain is felt when pressing on that spot or when doing certain wrist and finger movements, like resisting someone pushing your hand up or back.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old and are fairly active.
  • You do not have other conditions like a torn tendon, arthritis, nerve problems, or certain diseases (like rheumatoid arthritis).
  • You have not had physical therapy or steroid shots for your elbow in the last 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a pacemaker or diabetes.
