Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis).
  • You have tenderness when the doctor presses on the outer part of your elbow.
  • At least one special test (like Cozen's, Mill's, or Maudsley's) causes pain.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or other electronic implant, are not pregnant, and haven't had elbow surgery, physical therapy, or a corticosteroid injection in the last 3 to 12 months.
