Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are getting brachytherapy (radioactive seeds or temporary implants) for prostate cancer.
  • You have not had any previous treatment for prostate cancer (if this is your first treatment).
  • You have not had radiation therapy in the last three months before this treatment (if this is a salvage treatment).
  • You do not have an autoimmune disease (like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis).
  • You are not taking blood-thinning medication (like warfarin or apixaban).
