Fat Tissue and Liver Fat in Type 1 Diabetes

Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver DiseaseNon-Alcoholic Steato-Hepatitis (NASH)Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus

Part of Hormones & metabolism, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.

This study looks at how fat tissue works differently in people with type 1 diabetes who have belly fat, and how that might lead to fat buildup in the liver. It compares these people to those without diabetes, matched by age, waist size, and menopausal status, to find new ways to prevent liver problems.
