Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have rectal cancer that is stage II (T3-4, N0) or stage III (any T, N1-2).
  • You have not had radiation therapy to the rectal area before.
  • You are generally well enough to undergo treatment (ECOG score 0-2) and your blood counts meet certain levels.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan.
