Who can take part
- You are 45 years old or older.
- You have leg pain or trouble walking caused by narrow spinal canal, with or without back pain, confirmed by MRI.
- You have had these symptoms for at least 3 months before surgery.
- You have not had any prior back surgery.
- You do not have a spine curve (scoliosis) greater than 20 degrees or scoliosis from a cause like a fracture.
- You are willing to have follow-up imaging and exams as needed.
