Who can take part

  • You are 50 years or older.
  • You have moderate to severe narrowing in your lower spine (1 to 3 levels) that requires surgery.
  • You have not had improvement after at least 3 months of non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy or medications).
  • Your back pain score is at least 50 out of 100. This is usually a moderate to high level of pain.
  • You have no prior back surgery and no significant spine instability or deformity.
