Enhancing deep sleep to help depression

Depression - Major Depressive Disorder

Who can take part

  • You must be able to do an overnight sleep study, which involves sleeping with a cap that records your brain waves.
  • You must have moderate depression (as assessed by a doctor).
  • You must have told your doctor about problems with memory, focus, or thinking.
  • You cannot have certain medical conditions like epilepsy, Parkinson's, or a history of serious head injury or stroke.
  • You cannot have metal or an implanted device in your head, and you cannot be pregnant.
